Quick Facts

  • Final Results: 3-6 Months
  • Treatment Frequency: 4-6 Weeks

What is PRP & PRF Aesthetics?

PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, is a derivative of your own blood that is rich in growth factors. Growth factors can boost your body’s rate of natural regeneration, especially when it comes to the collagen and elastin matrix that supports your skin’s youthfulness. PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is a type of PRP that uses advanced technology to concentrate growth factors to a higher degree than PRP. This can achieve better results and a more aggressive treatment approach.

PRP and PRF cosmetic treatments are often paired with treatments like microneedling for better absorption into the deeper layers of the skin where it can effectively go to work. The gradual result is more youthful, rejuvenated skin with a reduction in a variety of skin concerns.

Is PRP & PRF Aesthetics Right for Me?

PRP and PRF can achieve excellent results with the right treatment approach and can be a more aggressive option than many med spa treatments. This makes it best for patients with mild aging signs or patients who want to put off the need for surgery in the future. Additionally, PRP and PRF use your own blood and don’t require any harsh ingredients, making it low-risk and suitable for sensitive skin or patients with allergies.

What are the Benefits of PRP & PRF?

  • Natural regeneration
  • No incisions or downtime
  • Low risk

What Happens During PRP & PRF Aesthetics?

To begin your consultation, we’ll discuss your goals for treatment with PRP and how we can best achieve them. We’ll assess your concerns and your existing beauty regimen to create a customized treatment plan using our best cosmetic treatments. Then, a small blood sample is drawn and placed in a centrifuge based on your needs for PRP or PRF. Finally, the serum is placed into the skin either through injections or microneedling. You can return home after treatment.

PRP & PRF Aesthetics Maintenance

You may have some minor redness and swelling after your treatment session, but this subsides quickly. We’ll discuss the right aftercare steps to take for your skin, including avoiding sunlight, keeping your skin moisturized, and avoiding harsh products. You’ll begin to see results emerge over the course of 4 to 6 weeks with the most drastic improvement after about 4 months. Most patients benefit from a package of treatments and we’ll make sure you understand the right time to return for re-treatment.

Does PRP tighten skin?

PRP can achieve minor skin tightening by boosting the production of collagen in the skin. Microneedling can also help address this.

People that have dark circles or skin laxity.

It is your own blood used to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
