What is Radiesse?

Radiesse is a unique dermal filler made from calcium-based microspheres suspended in a crystal-clear, water-based gel. When injected, the gel provides supple, natural-looking volume while the microspheres are absorbed over time, stimulating your body’s natural rate of collage production. As the gel fades, your natural collagen is left behind to provide volume and definition. This makes it different from hyaluronic acid dermal fillers which simply restore volume and fade with time.

Is Radiesse Right for Me?

Radiesse is unique because it can be used in both the face and the hands. Specifically, it can treat areas of the face like the smile lines, chin lines, mouth corners, and jowls, as well as volume loss in the backs of the hands. This gives it versatility, especially when paired with our experienced team. If you’re looking to restore volume to these areas, then Radiesse can be a great option if you’re experiencing collagen loss because of age. We offer the leading injectables on the market and we can recommend the best options for you and your goals.

What are the Benefits of Radiesse?

  • Stimulates collagen production
  • Immediate results
  • No downtime required

What Happens During Radiesse Treatment?

During a consultation with our team, you’ll discuss your goals for cosmetic treatments. We’ll create a customized treatment plan from our best options, including injectables, skincare treatments, and products. The injection process takes only a few moments, and you’ll see results immediately. You can return to your regular activities afterward.

Radiesse Maintenance

As Radiesse stimulates collagen production, the product will fade and natural collagen will be left behind. This can last for about 1 year, and you can return for touch-up appointments as needed. Additional collagen-stimulating treatments like microneedling can be very beneficial to maintaining your results. You can expect some minor redness and irritation at the injection sites afterward, but this subsides quickly. Make sure to avoid blood-thinning medications before and after treatment to minimize the chances of bruising. It’s important to keep your head elevated after treatment and avoid exercising or strenuous activity. Although you’ll see immediate results, it can take around 2 weeks for your results to settle.

Schedule a Consultation

During a consultation, our team can recommend the best in injectable treatments and fillers. To schedule an appointment, we invite you to contact our Kalamazoo office by calling or filling out our online form.
