Candace Taylor
Owner
Candace Taylor is the owner and manager of Glow Up Aesthetics. Candace grew up in Traverse City, Ml and moved to Kalamazoo for college in 2001. She was married to Dr. Brett Taylor in 2006. She is the mother of 3 girls, aged 17, 13 and 6. Candace and her husband own Taylor Chiropractic in Otsego, Ml. He is the third generation chiropractor in his family. As a couple and family they love to travel, especially to Mexico beaches.
Candace became passionate about aesthetics when she started getting her own treatments for skin. After years of driving 40 minutes to get such services performed, she decided to open her own Med Spa in Otsego next door to their chiro office. They opened New Healthcare and Med Spa in 2020 and in 2021 decided that Kalamazoo was a better fit. They rebranded the current business to Glow Up Aesthetics.
Candace’s favorite part of any day is seeing clients build confidence in self care by helping transform their skin or appearance. Woman empowering women!
Chelsey
Nurse Practitioner
Chelsey is an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and co-owner and sole operator of our Grand Rapids location. She specializes in natural aesthetic enhancements, pharmaceutical grade skin care treatments and products. Chelsey wholeheartedly believes in aging prevention and aesthetic treatments that won’t be noticed by the naked eye. She loves to continue her education and grow her knowledge and skills to give her patients the best outcomes possible.
Her passions include full face rejuvenation, chin and lip filler combinations, Sculptra, and neurotoxin, aka “the gateway” drug” (Botox/Dysport)! One of her favorite parts of her career is helping patients gain confidence and watch their skin and appearance transform after treatments and pharmaceutical grade skincare. She also believes that each patient should be educated to the full extent, even if you’ve had treatments before. Her main goal is to provide a welcoming experience for everyone and to achieve each patient’s main goals and discuss other possible options for the future!

Tera
Esthetician
Tera has been in the beauty industry for over 20 years. She started out as a nail tech, but Skincare has always been her true passion. Seven years ago, Tera decided it was time to go back to school to study Esthetics. Today, Tera is now a Master Esthetician with several certificates, she believes continuing education is key. Another one of Tera’s passions is lashes, which is why she got certified in lash extensions, lash lift and tint, and brow laminations.
In Tera’s free time you will find her out playing with her three dogs, hanging out with her two kids ages 17 and 14, or out enjoying live music.
Samantha
Aesthetic Nurse Injector
With a passion for enhancing natural beauty and empowering clients, Samantha is an accomplished Aesthetic Nurse Injector with over three years of hands-on experience in the field. Known for blending artistic precision with medical expertise, Samantha specializes in providing personalized aesthetic treatments tailored to each individual’s unique needs and desires.
Driven by a commitment to excellence, Samantha stays on top of the latest advancements in aesthetic medicine and injectable techniques, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care and achieve optimal results. With a warm and compassionate approach, she establishes strong rapport with clients, guiding them through their aesthetic journey with professionalism and empathy.

Lacy Freeman, NP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Lacey has been a registered nurse since 2009 and a nurse practitioner since 2013. She spent most of the last 10 years working in surgical specialties such as cardiothoracic and vascular. Around 4 years ago, Lacey started really investing in her skin with quality products and Botox. Needless to say, she fell in love! She is a certified nurse injector and loves working with her clients to enhance their natural beauty and meet their aesthetic goals.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and 3 kids as well as lifting weights and cooking. You’ll likely pick up on her southern draw since she was born and raised in the south but is thrilled that Michigan is now home!
Darby Kasten
Esthetician
Darby has been in the beauty industry doing bridal makeup since 2016. She has been a licensed esthetician since 2019. She currently specializes in semi permanent makeup, facial treatments and eyelash extensions. You’ll see her behind the desk and in the treatment room! She has always had a passion for making others feel beautiful and can’t wait to see your GLOW UP!

Cela recently graduated from Ross as a medical assistant. She’s since become interested in the aesthetic side of the medical world and is excited to begin her journey with us. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, heading to the beach and reading.
